xSedoro 'Blue Elf' is the first inter-generic hybrid between Sedum and Orostachys. It has steel-blue tufted rosettes topped with tight clusters of dark-pink flowers that attract bees. The Sunsparkler Sedums are remarkable for their multi-crown habit, ability to hold colour all summer, and drought tolerance. They are great additions to options for groundcovers and for use as spillers in containers.
Congested blue gray rounded foliage on short stems forms tidy clumps for the rock garden, raised beds and hot dry planters. Starry pink flower clusters appear in late summer. Grows 3-6" tall and 12" wide. This an intergeneric cross between Sedum and Orostachys and it should be accurately listed as x Sedoro.
