    Salvia greggii Mirage Deep Purple is a heat tolerant, flowering shrub with continuous deep purple color. Compact, well branched shrubby habit that is neat and tidy for low maintenance. A favorite with Hummingbirds! Autumn Sage is easily grown in well-drained soil with moderate water. Tolerates drought. Prune to shape before growth begins in spring. Provides late color in beds and borders.

    Salvia greggii Mirage 'Deep Purple' produces richly-coloured grape purple flowers with a hint of blue. The Mirage Series is a group of compact, mounding autumn sage in a range of flower colours growing to 12-14 inches tall wide that are long-blooming producing flowers from early summer until fall. Plant in full sun in hot dry spots with well-drained soils or in containers.
