Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Lupinus 'Blacksmith' is a magnificent bicolour lupin with regal purple and white flowers. The Westcountry lupins from England are the most beautiful in the world with incredible colours, including bicolours, tons of flowers, and great vigour. Lupins frequently go through a "dumb phase" after blooming. Plant them behind something that is one foot tall and cut back six inches after flowering to encourage new growth and rebloom.
