    Amianthium muscitoxicum is a broadleaf deciduous perennial bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge followed by orange fruit. Features grassy texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with mostly sun - dappled shade and even moisture - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in acidic, average, lean, rich and well-drained soil.     Amianthium muscitoxicum is a rare eastern North American native that emerges from a bulb with long, strap-like leaves and 1-2 foot stems topped with spikes of pure white, glistening, star-like flowers that turn green and bronze with age and are followed by bright orange fruit.
