    Allium nevskianum is a broadleaf deciduous perennial bulb / corm / tuber with blue and green foliage. In spring pink flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Attracts bees, beneficial insects and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in average, gritty, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

    Allium nevskianum is a rare species with lush, pink flowers in April and May, and gorgeous, blue paired leaves. It makes an excellent, well behaved groundcover, with larger flowers and longer leaves than other members of this group. Well suited to our coastal climate, it prefers consistent moisture while in growth and tolerates summer drought. Few plants can offer the unique flower forms of ornamental onions.
