Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A gorgeous bloom of white bell-shaped flowers falling like a fountain look very much like a sparkler perched atop 12-24" inch stems, the summer flowers contrast nicely with the lovely garlic-scented chive-like foliage; this plant looks amazing when planted in drifts, if its happy it may also self-sow; a recipient of the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. S/M/GDr
A mid-Summer bloomer with very flowing white flowers. 12" -24" tall. Perfect for mid border in full sun to part shade. Will seed in to make a dramatic colony.
Allium pulchellum album -nA white form of the above species.
This white 'Album' form of the rare keeled garlic, Allium carinatum ssp. pulchellum, produces pure white fireworks of small florets. Few plants can offer the unique flower forms of ornamental onions. Every garden should have Alliums. Plant in multiples of 3, 5, 7 or more. Don't fret when foliage starts to die back just before flowering. It's normal. Just trim the leaves.
