    Allium 'Ping Pong' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In spring and summer white flowers emerge. Features grassy texture. Attracts bees, beneficial insects and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in average, gritty, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

    Allium 'Ping Pong' has unusual, fuzzy looking spheres of white flowers opening from buds tinged pink. Rising three feet above the garden, flowers appear in July when other Allium are fading. Both the elongated sepals, which look like garlic scapes, and dried seed heads are attractive. Few plants can offer the unique flower forms of ornamental onions. Plant in groups of 3, 5, 7 or more for the greatest impact.
