Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Multitudes of blooms open a warm apricot to yellow before gradually maturing to a deep copper. Tiny blossoms are tightly packed in large, flat, flower clusters which are 2 to 4" across. The soft-green foliage is deeply-cut, almost fern-like and fragrant when crushed. This is an easy-going 2-3' perennial; tolerant of deer, heat and humidity. A good choice for Xeriscape or pollinator gardens. S/M-D
A tough plant with a mix of terracotta orange, yellow, and peach blooms above ferny foliage is perfect for a well-draining sunny spot. 2-3'T & W
Achillea Desert Eve Terracotta has large, flat-topped flower clusters with flowers in shades of yellow, orange and rusty orange above a low mound of highly dissected, fragrant, fern-like foliage. The Desert Eve series has been bread for shorter stems and compact growth that should rise to a little over one foot tall. Yarrow can be sheared back hard after the first bloom to keep the plants clean and encourage rebloom.
