Named for English gardener Collingwood Ingram (of flowering cherry fame). This low growing perennial gets up to 1' tall in bloom with small brilliant blue flowers. In early March-April O. 'Cherry Ingram' is a perfect companion for Corylopsis pauciflora. The plants will slowly grow into mats of flowers and foliage.
