A tall, slender form of European beech originating at the Trompenburg Arboretum in the Netherlands . Suspected to be a seedling of F. 'Dawyck Purple'. Different from its parent though in that it is much narrower reaching 30-40 feet tall and only 5 feet wide. Also sold as F. 'Plaswyck'.
