A variation of the classic Shoo-Fly plant that arrived to England from its native Peru in 1759, this lustily growing old-fashioned flower has deep lavender blue blooms with striping inside. Chinese lantern shaped dangling seed pods colored shiny patent leather black dry to a soft aged linen hue and make large dry flower arrangements. Self sows abundantly, but easy to remove unwanted seedlings, we recommend cutting before capsules degrade in late fall.
