Agapanthus 'Grey Ghost' is a broadleaf semi-evergreen perennial bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In summer white flowers emerge. Features grassy texture. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in alkaline, average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant, seaside / salt tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This is a sport of Peter Pan that I found in 1983. It was among a group of divisions or possibly seedlings in a nursery in Pasadena, Ca. There were about 50,000 gallons going to Arizona. The leaves were grey-green with creamy white variegation. Unfortunately the variegation seem to be lost in colder climates and areas of less heat. It is similar in height to Peter Pan with white blooms. It is a prolific bloomer out performing Peter Pan 3 to 1. It is not unusual to see one or two flower spikes from a 2" liner pot.
