Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This shrub/small tree, a Myrtle relative, hails from parts of southeastern Australia, most notably Tasmania. Its arching branches and dense foliage make it an attractive addition to the garden especially when flowering, bearing spikes of cream to white perfumed flowers in spring or early summer. Eventually grows to 15 ft tall x 12 ft wide. Best in full sun with moist soil until established, occasional summer water thereafter.
