Developed by Michael Dirr, this is a compact, reblooming mophead to 3-4’ high and wide. It blooms on both old and new wood. Flowers are pink in alkaline soil or blue in acid soil. Typical Hydrangea culture, morning sun or bright shade, well-drained soil with consistent moisture. Requires little to no pruning!

Mini new-wood blooming cultivar. First true compact re-blooming mophead. Lots of others try to compete for this coveted title but look no further, test no further. This is the compact version of the original Penny Mac hydrangea named for Penny McHenry, founder of the American Hydrangea Society.
