Elaeagnus x ebbingei is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with blue and green foliage. In fall cream flowers emerge followed by orange and red fruit. Features glossy texture. Attracts bees and birds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something seaside / salt tolerant and wind tolerant.
