Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This amazing Clematis comes from Raymond Evison, the most famous Clematis breeder of the moment. 'Daiyu' from the Boulevard collection is a reblooming cultivar with glowing magenta flowers that are said to bloom from the ground up, even on mature plants when they reach their full 4-6 feet tall. Flowers arise from the tips of the stems but also from the leaf axils. Plant on its own or at with other Clematis that don't stay so full lower down.
Clematis Daiyu is also known as EVIPO083. This compact reddish pink hybrid has excellent bloom power. Looks great cascading out of a mixed container!
