Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Hippeastrum 'Picotee' is the epitome of elegance with pure white flowers edged with a thin red line. Grow in a sunny location (usually in a pot) outside in summer. Fertilize well. Allow autumn frosts to hit the foliage then bring inside, chop off the leaves and allow to dry out in the dark. Give light and water when a bud or new foliage appears. Will bloom indoors in January and February. This First Size bulb will have 1-2 flowering stems.
If you've seen this amaryllis, you likely remember it. Pure white, smooth petals edged with a razor thin line of bright red. Sometimes even the lightest sprinkling of red glitter across the glossy petals. Cool, chic and modern.
