Anemone drummondii is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In spring cream flowers emerge. Features fuzzy texture. Attracts bees and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and even moisture - occasional water. Does well in average, gritty, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

A quite variable species growing wild in the western states from California to Alaska. This form looks much like Anemone multifida, but about twice as large in all parts, especially the flowers. Blooms for us several times in spring and summer.
