Polystichum xiphophyllum is a little-known evergreen fern from China which is moderate in size -- eventually to 18 inches tall and slightly wider -- but very beautiful with stiff, silvery shiny fronds comprised of black stems and almost plastic-like pinnae. A great fern for shady containers or a woodland setting.
Silver Saber fern- this dark evergreen fern will stay 12-18” tall. The foliage is narrow and has a firm texture. Said to be more drought tolerant.
