perennial, carnivorous
Darlingtonia californica is a semi-evergreen perennial carnivorous with green and red foliage. In summer green and red flowers emerge. Attracts beneficial insects. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and standing water - high water. Does well in acidic soil. A good option if you're seeking something humidity tolerant.
