    Dramatic colored foliage on the horizontally held, arrow shaped foliage etched in patterns of purple, silver and green on 2’ stems make this worth growing. Can be vigorous in good soil with regular moisture so if you want an accent instead of a main course try it in a pot! This perennial seems happy in a sunny spot to part shade; most soils, regular water; cut back to refresh or to keep shorter; easy.

    Persicaria 'Purple Fantasy' has dramatic light green, lance-shaped leaves marked with a mint and maroon chevron on somewhat arching purple stems. Tiny white baby’s breath-like flowers appear from mid-summer and last into fall. Not invasive. A stunning foliage plant for sun to part shade.

    Interesting arrow-shaped, horizontally-held, medium-green leaves have an echoing dark purple arrow inside the margin. It's usually grown for its remarkable foliage, though it has fine, dainty little spritzes of pink flowers that seem to be held invisibly. I'd love to rename this cultivar "Floating Purple Arrows" because that is just what it looks like. 2' tall clump. Minimum temperature: -40 °F
