Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This is probably the most beautiful terrestrial bromeliad hybrid in existence. Bred by Paradise Found's grower Ray Lemeiux, this bigeneric (a mix of two different genera) hybrid is a cross of Encholirium horridum and Hechtia rosea. Both of these plants are heavily armed with spines, but Enchotia has come out spineless! Beautiful, stiff leaves that cascade and recurve downward, just like the Encholirum, and incredible rosy, red, pink and orange coloring just like the Hechtia. A superb specimen for pot culture. A show stopper!
