    Cryptanthus argyrophyllus, a VERY uncommon and interesting terrestrial bromeliad. Cryptanthus are also known as Earth Stars. This one can reach a foot in diameter. The fuzzy foliage is blue except when wet. Pups baby plants in the center of the mother plant after flowering little white flowers. Needs partial shade and adequate water (but not standing water).
