Ceropegia carnosa is an evergreen cactus / succulent with green foliage. In summer burgundy flowers emerge. Grows well with bright shade and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average, gritty and well-drained soil.
A succulent vining member of the milkweed/asclepiad family from South Africa. The little flowers contain many hairs that trap tiny flies until they are covered in pollen - only then are they released and allowed to travel to the next flower. Best in bright light but not direct sun. Allow this plant to climb a trellis or hang from a basket.
