This small fern has anupright, vase-shaped habit just 12 inches tall and wide. Fiddleheads unfurl in a whirlwind pattern for an impressive view from directly above. The perfect landscape fern for the shady side of your local nuclear power plant. You would be hard pressed to find a more mutant looking fern. The bizarre three-dimensional layered fronds are strange as hell; you need this. It is my current favorite fern and better still it propagates by frond cuttings if you are patient (play a little Gun's and Roses, kick back and whistle along)
