Stunning maraschino-cherry red blooms on two foot stems call in the hummingbirds, bushy upright plants bloom from July to frost adding bright color to the border or mixed bed; good drainage is key for best performance. S/M-GDr PPAF
Bred for a more compact size and increased hardiness this baby performs! Upright stems to 2’ are tight in 20” clumps...tubular bright cherry red flowers are almost nonstop all summer and fall right up to frost...roll out the hummer carpet! Average garden soil with good drainage, full sun...water when dry. We love Penstemons anyway...but this series from Terra Nova loses the floppies and waves her banner of blooms high...Go Go Cha Cha!
Cha Cha Cherry' is a very showy Penstemon with numerous spikes of bright red, tubular flowers. Long-blooming from July to October. The plants have a bushy, compact habit and a very long bloom time. The dense foliage is a healthy blue-green and is a great contrast for this powerful garden performer. Great for hummingbirds and bees.
