Nursery contributed plant descriptions

There are a handful of older dahlias in our offering; Preference is one. First introduced in the 50's and now very hard to find, this variety still pops up on lists of favorite cutting dahlias. Why? It's a garden diplomat, flowering in a shade that artfully straddles the line between pink and peach. Sensational with deep purples and wines. Light and cheery with yellows. Long lasting semi-cactus blossoms on dark stems are 4-5" and festoon 4 foot tall plants.
