Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Dahlia 'Firepot' is a semi dinner plate dahlia with four inch wide blooms in brilliant shades of coral pink, orange, yellow and fuchsia. Strong stems to two feet tall. Dahlias are hardy to the winter temperatures of coastal BC but not to the winter wet. Grow outside in locations that are dry in winter or lift and store in a cool, dry location indoors like everyone else does.
Compact habit, incredibly vibrant flowers and a color blend that grabs the attention of even flower-agnostic types (14 year old boys), dahlia Firepot positively glows. Sulfur-yellow centers transition to tangerine petals tipped in coral. Blooms are low and framed by foliage, ideal for breezy sites. Floriferous and simply delicious.
