Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Slow growing evergreen conifer with foliage comprised of flattened, overlapping scales, resembling antlers. In 10 years, maybe a 4’ shrub. Excellent container selection! Thrives in most soils with decent drainage and sun to part shade, regular water. It has a very pleasing layered form that sometimes takes on orangey hues and tends to be symmetrical (I have never pruned mine except to take cuttings to make it available to you!). These are grown on their own roots (not grafted). A neat and tidy shrub for neat and tidy gardeners.
Coarse, contorted yellow-green foliage picks up bronzy tones in the winter. In 10 years growth is 2 feet high and 4 feet across. Very symmetrical.
A choice dwarf, flat-topped and bright, that forms a wide-spreading bush and "seems indestructibly hardy" (Welch). Sun/Med
Wonderful texture and color for shade. Deep woods shade, black shade, front porch shade. SLOW growing, and beautiful every day.
