Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Small ground hugging deciduous conifer. This larch will have rich green foliage in summer then in fall it will turn a beautiful golden yellow.
This slow-growing larch was found as a witch's broom by Piet Vergeldt in the Netherlands. Its blue-green foliage is short on stout branches that are pink once the needles drop in the fall.
Blue-green needles emerge each spring and hold throughout the growing season. Fall brings its golden-yellow coloration. Upon falling forms a sea of color at the base. Ours are standards grafted 24 inches high and will slowly cascade downward.
