An evergreen to semi-evergreen (in colder range) Magnolia with lustrous sea green elliptical leaves and fragrant white flowers in late June and July. Sometimes known as Swamp Magnolia as it is found in wet areas on the eastern seaboard, this small ornamental tree grows to 30' tall and between 10-20' wide.
