Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Clematis texensis Princess Kate is a beautiful bicolour form of the Texas clematis with bell-shaped flowers with reflexed tips opening from deep-lavender pink buds to reveal a white flower with pink centres and deep-lavender pink reverses. Flowers in summer and fall. If you haven't yet discovered the Texensis Group of clematis, do come and have a look. Though the flowers are small to medium-sized they are exquisite and some of the most elegant in the genus.
A lovely texensis hybrid from Holland, it won gold at Plantarium in 2012. van Zoest, The Netherlands, 2011
