HUGE! (12-16") two-tone! flower heads emerge early (mid-summer) in white and continue to grow into fall as older flowers become rose-pink (regardless of pH); sturdy red stems hold flowers upright on this 6-8' shrub. PSh/M PP16166
Two-toned flowers. A very unique and stunning paniculata bred in Belgium. Large blooms are strong and sturdy from July to frost. Blooms continue to age dark pink while new flower emerge white. Foliage turns a burgundy red in the fall.
Deciduous shrub with large (up to 12"), dense, cone-shaped flower clusters. Two-toned flowers emerge white but transition to dark pink, so there will be a mixture of white and pink at the same time. Blooms from mid to late summer into the fall. Green foliage turns yellow to purplish in the fall. Bloom occurs on current season’s growth, so prune as needed in late winter to early spring. Growth Rate medium
An incredible new variety with large, 12 to 16 inch long flower panicles that emerge white, turn to dark pink, and continue to bloom new white flowers, giving a very beautiful, two-tone effect in summer and fall. The propagation of, and/or the sale of plant parts is prohibited without a license. PeeGee or Panicle Hydrangeas will do well in almost any well-drained garden soil but will benefit from a good quality mulch and from the addition of humus in poor soils. They seem to be adaptable as far as pH is concerned and are considered by many to be salt tolerant. The PeeGee Hydrangea flowers on new growth and so can be pruned in winter or early spring and can even be cut back to within 6" of the ground annually. Average moisture is best.

Large conical blooms open white, darken to pink stems, spring prune, blooms on new wood. Zones 3-8.
This new selection has panicles that continually send forth new white florets while the earlier appearing blossoms turn a deep pink. This creates a lovely two toned flower effect unique to this plant. Strong upright stems. 6-8'. 1 gallon pots
I'm not sure this name does this plant justice. With flowerheads 12"x8" and varying shades from white new flowers to magenta—I feel "rocket" should be somewhere in the name. The huge, prolific flowerheads are equally stunning on young plants as they are on mature 8' plants. A useful specimen for some punch in the garden or an awe inspiring hedge are both within reach with this plant.
