Delosperma 'Alan's Apricot' is a semi-evergreen groundcover cactus / succulent with blue and green foliage. In summer apricot flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average, gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

Delosperma 'Alan's Apricot' produces uniquely coloured flowers in shades of pale pink, apricot, and yellow. Very cold hardy, this cultivar will bloom from late spring through summer with masses of flowers. Very low-growing to about two inches. Ice plants are long-blooming and carefree succulent mat-forming perennials similar to sedums that thrive in heat, drought and nearly any well-drained soil. Very hardy but should be protected from winter wet either with very well drained soil or in the rainshadow of a house or other structure. Great in containers.
