A clear favorite among green bean lovers. The beans are long & slender, completely stringless, tender & the flavor is exceptional. They are delicious when picked young as well as after the bean seeds start swelling & Freeze well if you can’t eat them all. Very early & vigorous, it climbs to 8-10’ & will need a pole or a trellis for support. For easier picking, snip off tips when the vine reaches 6’ tall. Compared to bush types, pole beans produce beans over a much longer period & will keep producing as long as you keep harvesting beans.
