Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A pretty new phlox from the Flame Series, with deep blue flower buds, and florets that open up to white with oblique brushes of lavender-blue on each petal. It has a short compact size and decent disease-resistant foliage. It is somewhat similar to Phlox ‘Blue Spot’, but this one is much shorter, has darker blue buds, and less blue color on the petals. The height makes this phlox very fine for massing, and it delivers a welcome cooling effect to the border. (Reputed to be fragrant, I forgot to check).
