Bright, rose-magenta clustered cups cover cushions of gray, narrow, succulent leaves July - September. Flowers open in the afternoon sun. Coming from Chile and the Argentinian Andes, it will love the rock garden. No rich soil, and allow little water or you'll make it homesick. 18" TMinimum temperature: 20?F
This Rock Purslane is a descendant from Eric Hammond's Chilean collection. Our propagator Jason shared this with us and grew these little rock garden goodies. Likes the sun and good drainage, these are short-lived perennials and may not over-winter but sets good easy seed.
