This strain of pineapple is a strain of Pineapple we normally carry, now here is the kick every 5-10,000 plants that are cloned an unexplained oddity occurs, the leaves are variegated!! Variegation occurs in inedible landscape Pineapples but not in edible var. This variegation isn't repeatable and cannot be cloned therefore each plant is its own little unique specimen. The mother plant of this specimen Produces a whopping 6 lb pineapple with an edible core!! Great all around garden species of pineapple. Leaves arise from a tight rosette. All around great variety.
