Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Reminiscent of an Aloe, this lush-looking Lily relative conceives a durable, yet attractive low succulent ground cover. Underground rhizomes give way to open fleshy rosettes of cylindrical, upright green leaves that are narrow and pointed. Alighting slender stems, triangular green buds unfurl long blooming dainty orange flowers with frilly yellow stamens from the bottom up. An eye-catching South African evergreen, Bulbine frutescens requires little water and minimal care, though it enjoys a well-drained location and protection from cold winter nights.
Bulbine frutescens is a small succulent plant around 1 foot tall with bright orange flowers. The leaves look a bit like thin Aloe leaves very small and a cluster to form a nice clump. Great for hot full sun landscape or small containers. Zone 9 and up.
Thick rosettes of upright to arching succulent foliage is topped by spikes of yellow flowers from spring through summer. This is a floriferous and durable perennial for sunny locations. Prefers a fertile moist soil, but will withstand some drought once established.
