    Alocasia 'Stingray' is a fast-growing broadleaf semi-evergreen perennial aroid bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In spring white and insignificant flowers flowers emerge Flowers are not showy, but nurture a healthy ecosystem as wildlife habitat. Features glossy texture.     Alocasia ‘Stingray’ is an unusual form of Elephant Ear leaf with a wide winged upper half and a skinny tail lower half resembling the Stingray fish. Adds an exotic flair indoors or outside. Grows as an upright clump habit from a tuber. Elephant Ear Plants are great for adding color and texture in landscapes and containers. Works as a houseplant as well! Keep evenly moist and fertilize monthly during the growing season. Prefers bright, indirect light to partial sun. Avoid the scorching rays of afternoon sun, as the leaves may burn. Protect from frost!

    Reminiscent of an aquatic Stingray Alocasia Stingray boasts a elliptic frame with a long pointed tail, this new and unusual Alocasia adds a touch of the exotic to any garden. The large, round green leaves have a long, thin green tail at the terminal end of each leaf. This unusual plant is a fast growing Alocasia that can reach 5-6’ tall. Prefers a partially shady location with moist, fertile soil.
