Epimedium 'Sphinx Twinkler' is an exciting cultivar with long, narrow, serrated, evergreen leaves that emerge bronze-red topped with sulphur yellow and white spurred flowers. Also known as 'Spine Tingler'. Epimedium are among the easiest perennials to grow. They thrive in medium to heavy shade, and when established, are highly drought tolerant. They are deer resistant and are seldom bothered by voles or other critters. They can be used as effective groundcovers or shade garden accents.
Epimedium species novum ~ Leaflets emerge brushed light chocolate aging to glossy green with very narrow, long prominently spiny leaves, Floriferous spikes of long spured, light yellow flowers in spring. Plant in partial sun to nearly full shade. Height: 8”. Zones 5 to 9. Evergreen.
