Epimedium acuminatum is a broadleaf evergreen perennial groundcover with green, red and variegated foliage. In spring lavender flowers emerge. Grows well with mostly sun - shade and even moisture - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, clay, rich, rocky and well-drained soil.

One of our long time favorite species which has such a graceful habit of being low and spreading in leaf and flower. This habit really lends itself to a wall planting or top of a log where the arching form can be maximized. Nice new growth and big lavender bicolored flowers.
