Abutilon 'Kenny Sweetheart' is a broadleaf semi-evergreen perennial shrub with green foliage. In fall, spring, summer and winter apricot, pink and yellow flowers emerge. Attracts bees and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with mostly sun - mostly shade and regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and humidity tolerant.

A Cistus introduction. New in 2005; named for our Jack-of-all-trades, Kenny Kneeland. Medium plant; warm yellow to peach flowers flushing to saturated coral pink with temperature drops or serious embarrassment. Dappled shade, even moisture, and good fertilizer. Mulch for winter protection where temperatures drop below 29 °F. Recovers with protection in mid USDA zone 8.
