Phil Savage bred this hybrid of M. acuminata 'Fertile Myrtle' x M. sprengeri 'Diva'. The tree has mostly pink flowers with a hint of peachy orange. Hardy and must be a really good hybrid as Phil only named the best!
Flamingo is a super hardy tree (bred by Savage in MI) with pink flowers which emerge just before leaves. Flower start out tulip upright and then flop open.
