Aloe maculata is an evergreen cactus / succulent with bronze, green and white foliage. In fall, spring, summer and winter orange flowers emerge. Attracts beneficial insects and hummingbirds. Grows well with sun - bright shade and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in gritty, lean, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.
This maculate Aloe is of unknown parentage but sure is pretty! We only have a few. They have been stealthily growing hidden among their peers to avoid detection. The parent plant was about 2ft x 2ft.
This plant has been grown in a 6" pot. You will receive a very similar plant to the one in the picture. The plant is shipped "dry-root"
