Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Large, open flowers of red and pale pink with yellow stamens on a medium size vine. This plant is offspring of the better known Clematis Nelly Moser. Nadezhda has shown to keep better color in full sunlight than its parent. Clematis Nadezhda was bred by Beskaravainaja in Ukraine back in the days of the Soviet Union. The large, slightly gappy flowers have rich colors and make a nice, pinwheel effect. The name means Hope.
