Nursery contributed plant descriptions

PICEA glauca DUCHARME ZONES 2-8. Very tiny white spruce with 1/2-3/4" blue green needles. One of our smallest and rarest of the Spruce family. Reportedly hardy to Zone 1 when properly established in 2-3 years. That is minus 60 degrees F! Very slow growing to about 10" in 10 years but probably smaller. Untrimmed tends to spread wider. We have trained ours upright as mini trees. This is for the smallest of gardens, troughs, rock gardens, Bonsai and more as it takes a wide variety of weather. Photo shows a tree similar to size and shape you will receive. Shipping size 6-9 inches. MINIATURE
