An outstanding selection of a rarely grown species. This is a relatively dwarf and compact plant with shiny, somewhat bullate foliage and bell-shaped flowers in mid-spring. The flowers on this 1977 AM form are cream-yellow and heavily spotted with purple. A very striking flower that always elicits comments from garden visitors. Native to the Tsangpo Gorge Region of SE Tibet.
