Grassy leaves are strongly upright to 18” and about as wide, color is dark burgundy, with black tones... site it where it can be backlit by the sun! All it requires is constant moisture (can even be submerged) and heat(sun) to do its thing. Fabulous container specimen, water feature star or moist garden accent! Produces edible rice. Annual in all zones.
