Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Fragrant herbaceous perennial with bright green, ferny foliage on stems to 3’ forming clumps 18-24” wide. In early summer, plants are topped with large creamy white umbels that are quite showy. Nice along pathways where plants can be brushed by walkers to release the sweet anise perfume. We prune ours back hard after bloom for a fresh new crop of foliage. Deer resistant, most soils, sun to part shade and regular moisture. Does not like heat or drought. USDA Z4
